Dr. BURKE'S SERVICES
Medication Managment
Dr. Burke directs the Uptown Counseling Center which provides individual counseling, couples counseling, family therapy, and medication management services for individuals suffering from eating disorders, substance abuse and alcohol abuse disorders, anxiety, and depression.
Neurofeedback
Dr. Burke directs the Neurofeedback Services Center which conducts research on neurofeedback and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) for cognitive and neurological conditions, as well as, help promotion self-improvement and athletic and academic performance in neuro-typical individuals.
Research
Dr. Burke areas of interest include the Rorschach Inkblot Test, the Sleep-Wake Patterns of Children with Autism, neurofeedback, trans-cranial direct current stimulation, and the integration of Psychodynamic, Existential, and Cognitive Behavior theories of treatment into a comprehensive technique.
